Purpose
In a busy Microsoft 365 tenant, unused enterprise apps and odd sign-in patterns pile up unnoticed — and each forgotten app is a door left open. Administrators had no standing view of which apps were actually being used or when they were last touched, so catching a risk meant a manual audit nobody had time to run.
Description
We built a reporting job that runs on its own schedule and pulls every enterprise app's sign-in activity, last-used date, and audit history into one readable report. It surfaces the apps nobody uses and the sign-in patterns worth a second look, so administrators get a standing picture instead of a point-in-time guess. That turns retiring dead apps and tightening the tenant into a routine decision rather than a fire drill. The team trims its attack surface without auditing by hand every time.
