Purpose
The study set out to build a solar-and-battery-powered irrigation prototype that waters plants automatically based on real soil moisture and solar radiance readings, maximizing plant growth without manual intervention or grid power.
Description
A NodeMCU (ESP8266) prototype that reads soil moisture through an ADS1115 ADC, solar irradiance through a BH1750 light sensor, and temperature and humidity from a DHT11, then drives a relay-controlled sprinkler when moisture drops below an 80 percent threshold. The Blynk mobile dashboard shows live readings and supports timed sprinkler runs, while a solar panel and battery keep the system self-powered.
