Purpose
Students often waste trips checking whether a professor is available. This system tracks faculty attendance and publishes consultation schedules, letting professors update their status remotely so students always see current availability.
Description
A Raspberry Pi kiosk runs a PyQt interface where students browse faculty profiles, attendance status, and consultation times, with announcements displayed on a dedicated screen. Firebase serves as the real-time backend, so professors can update availability from outside the university and changes appear on the kiosk immediately. GPIO control adds a time-activated power-saving mode that switches the monitor off outside operating hours.
