Purpose

Design a family wall clock that goes beyond timekeeping, showing accurate time alongside live temperature and humidity readings and playing a personalized audio recording as its notification sound.

Description

An Arduino Nano drives a four-panel MAX7219 LED matrix display, with a DS3231 real-time clock keeping accurate time and a DHT11 sensor supplying live temperature and humidity readings. A DFPlayer Mini module plays custom audio recordings from an SD card through an amplified speaker for personalized notifications. The circuit was simulated in Proteus and assembled on a custom-etched PCB in its own housing.
