Purpose

A wall clock that only tells time leaves a lot of everyday information on the table: how warm the room is, how humid, and whether a reminder is worth noticing. The project set out to fold live environmental readings and a personal, recorded alert into a single glanceable display a family would actually keep on the wall.

Description

We built a clock that shows accurate time alongside live temperature and humidity on a bright panel display, keeping time precisely with a dedicated timekeeping module. A playback module sounds custom audio recordings through an amplified speaker, so notifications carry a familiar voice instead of a generic beep. We simulated the full circuit, then etched a custom board and housed it as a finished unit. It is proof we can carry a piece of hardware from schematic to something you would mount on a wall.
