Purpose
The project aimed to build a prototype that detects birds approaching a protected area and drives them away automatically, testing whether motion sensing paired with high-frequency sound is an effective deterrent.
Description
An Arduino prototype that monitors four PIR motion sensors and, on detecting movement, sounds a buzzer at 29 kHz for five seconds to repel birds. The multi-sensor layout widens the detection coverage around the protected area, and the full circuit was designed and validated in the Wokwi online simulator before assembly, with the simulation published for review.
